One of Fleischer´s strategic pillars is to be a socially responible busines player. Though more than 150 years in the tourism of western Norway, Fleischer´s har helped build Voss as a tourist destination.
Through sponsorship we keep life in local teams and associations. As an event venue we have been building up today's major festivals, such as the Osa- Festival, Vossajazz, Extremsportveko and Voss Cup.

By turning the operation towards a greener and more experience-based value creation, we take environmental responsibility in a supplier and labor-intensive industry. By running a hotel in historical surroundings, we manage the history of culture royalty-free on behalf of the community. This we are proud of and want to continue with.
Fleischer ́s is a certified environmental lighthouse. The hotel got the Ecolabel for the first time in 2013. We are passionate about sustainability and work systematically on limiting our footprint in nature. The fresh air, the clean water and the magnificent nature formed in their time the basis of the first tourists who came to Voss. We are obliged to preserve this.
Fleischer ́s Hotel is a proud member of the Historic Hotels and Restaurants. Membership is regarded as a seal of approval. It sets requirements and expectations for quality, architecture and preservation of cultural historical values. Fleischer ́s hotel is a signal building. Through its operations, Fleischer ́s is one of Norway's oldest and finest wooden buildings, both inside and outside. By safeguarding old crafts, we reduce consumption with the accompanying waste.
Fleischer ́s hotel is a big employer and teaching company. The hotel has 80 employees and 60 year-round works. By being an employer, we keep the Voss village with jobs and tax revenues. By being a big learning company, we provide recruitment to the industry and education to young students.
